DANITY KANE DK3 ANNOUNCES 2018 TOUR WITH DAWN & DUMBLONDE

Danity Kane is a multi-platinum, international, chart topping, independent female music group. The group originally formed on MTV's hit series Making the Band and signed to Bad Boy/Atlantic Records in 2005 under the direction of Sean "Diddy" Combs. With radio hits like "Showstopper" and "Damaged," they proved their talents as legitimate industry artists. Their freshman and sophomore albums "Danity Kane" and "Welcome to the Dollhouse" both debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Danity Kane became the ?rst female group in Billboard's history to consecutively debut albums a #1, placing them in the Guinness Book of World Records. After reuniting in 2014 their independent self-titled Junior album “DK3” went #1 on Billboard US top Album Chart.

This will be the ?rst time in 4 years that the trio has performed together, introducing new music from solo projects as well as coming together performing the Danity Kane Hits we all know and love. Driven by innovations in tech as well as music, in 2016 DAWN becamethe first ever artist to perform live in 360 degrees on YouTube, as a part of the platform’s collaboration series with The Verge, partnered with Wired for the release of an award-nominated virtual reality version of her single ‘Not Above That’, and joined Adult Swim as a curator and designer. A keen collaborator, the last two years have seen her work with the cream of both the underground (Mumdance, Machinedrum, Kingdom) and the mainstream (Kimbra, Dirty Projectors) alike, and she is nominated for Hardest Working Artist at this year’s prestigious AIM Awards.

No, but I was going to Seattle in November-December anyway for some family time so I can knock out two birds with one stone. I just want to see the dates before I book this flight because I was going to Chicago in October as well.

Dumblonde came to Holocene in Portland a couple years back which is a really small venue. I wonder if they will do the same.

When I went last year surprisingly it didn't rain during the two weeks I spent in the beginning of December. Foggy as all hell but no rain. I made a day trip out to Portland and fell in love!
