I can hear either Marz or P-Nasty producing this since it's still one of Mike Will Made It's signed producers. I can't wait to see if The Stereotypes gave them some jams like on Travis Garland's album. I'm so excited for this project. B!tches are coming back fierce, vocally ready from their group hiatus, and more experienced with the industry. When Dawn said Shannon loves to give that slick shade I was like YAAAASSSS! D. WOODS CLAIMS SHE WAS EXCLUDED FROM DANITY KANE REUNION

D. Woods wants in on the Danity Kane reunion. One-fifth of the platinum group is claiming that she was excluded from the girls’ comeback concert.

Woods was missing when the other four members, Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, and Aundrea Fimbres, took the stage at L.A.’s House of Blues earlier this month.

The 29-year old singer is now telling TMZ that she would have loved to perform during Danity Kane’s first show in five years, but didn’t get an invite.

She also claims that she tried to reunite the group in the past, but was met with resistance. The first time she heard about DK’s reunion plans was through TMZ in May.

She’s unsure why the girls didn’t include her, but is happy that they’re having success with “the sound that I helped them create.”

This is in sharp contrast to what she previously said. In a statement to Us Weekly in August, she explained her decision not to return and wished the other members well.

“Much love to the ladies of DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on,” said Woods.

She opted out of the reunion to focus on her solo career. “For the past couple of years, myself and the other DK members have been working on other projects individually, such as music, film, television, theater, and philanthropy and I have recently signed on to several projects that will have me committed for the next year,” she explained.

The other members claim that Woods received an invite for the reunion, but passed. “We asked who wanted to be here and those who wanted to show up, showed up,” Dawn told Rap-Up TV. “It’s nothing more than that. We want people to see this for what it is and know that this is Danity Kane.”

The foursome are moving ahead with plans to release a new album in 2014. They are close to signing a new record deal and premiered a new song called “All in a Day’s Work” at their House of Blues show.

I am curious as to how far this group is going to go. There are female groups with more critical and/or commercial acclaim (Labelle, SWV, En Vogue, Spice Girls, TLC, etc.) who have tried to make a comeback in various ways in the past decade but have experienced a tepid response. I am not quite sure how the public will respond to Danity Kane when it seems like they never really got off the ground as far as success is concerned.

2 number 1 albums(both with consistent openings), 2 Top 10 hits, Platinum and Gold certifications.

A recent sold out show...I'd say theyll do fine. They're not meant to be on an Indie label(ie: Ashanti).

Unlike those groups, where nostalgia is a key factor, Danity Kane can still record according to the newer trends. Shannon has Country, Aubrey with Dance/Electronica, Dawn with R&B/Experimental, Aundrea with Spanish. They all have a blend that can work for them. The 18+ demographic still remembers them in a current state of mind. Labelle, En Vogue, TLC, etc are banking on old fans. All of the members are 30 and below except for Shannon at 33. Plus they have the full package of still delivering great vocals and stellar choreo.

Wanita is full of shit. When the girls first got back together, she declined their invitation and said she was "too busy" with other engagements. She even did an interview with US WEEKLY wishing them well and promoting her latest attempt at a single.

You don't just release an official statement to a major publication like US WEEKLY and then expect everyone to forget once you realize that your former group members accomplished more in a few months than you have in your entire "career" since the disbandment.

SMH. I wish I could say what I know has been going down behind the scenes, but I'll just say this....what goes around comes around. D.Woods has handled this situation and what they've done to publicly and privately a lot better than many thus far....including myself. But let me be quiet. #TimeWillTellTheStory

I wish D. Woods would come back with them, she had one of the nicest voices.

Their new song is cool, but I just feel like they can't shake 2006 off of themselves.

I don't really see a place for them in today's climate since the urban pop sound that they excelled at has been pretty much eradicated from radio aside from Ariana Grande. But hopefully their album has some nice cuts like always.

That sounds good. It's clearly very Dawn driven but it also sounds like the other girls reigned her in from that batshit crazy headspace she was in with some of her solo stuff.

I'd love for them to sign with Drake's imprint. And please bring back Wanita. I know a lot of people on here like to stan for Shannon on the low but she's about as appealing as a mayonnaise sandwich.
