Their album is finally #1. It features the Top 10 "Save A Horse, Ride a Cowboy" and the debut "Wild West Show".
No. 1 Country -- Big & Rich's "Horse Of A Different Color" tops the new Billboard Top Country Albums chart, kicking sand in Jimmy Buffett's face and bumping his "License To Chill," into 2nd place.
Aaaaaaack! Aaaaaaack!
'Scuse me. I'm having one of those attacks again.

This CD is surprisingly good. I like "Save A Horse", but admit its kinda cheesy, and that I'll be sick of it soon.
Some of the other songs are great. "Six Foot Town", "Saved" and "Holy Water" are fantastic songs. Their voices play off of each other well.
"Real World" and "Rollin'" are fun just like "Save a Horse" is.

I can only hope that there are some songs on this cd not as awful (IMHO) as their first two singles.

Now that "Save A Horse" has peaked and is falling, does anyone know what the next single will be? My wild guess is "Rollin' (The Ballad of Big and Rich)" since that's one of three songs their official site features on a streaming player (the other two being the first two singles).
Rollin' is more of the same from them... In-your-face stuff in the same vein as Save A Horse. Maybe it's TOO similiar to Horse be an obvious choice for the next single, actually. It doesn't show any new dimension to their music.
Update: As I was writing this, I just finished listening to Rollin' for the first time on their streaming feed. Ugh! It's got ridiculous rapping near the end of it! Can't we get away from that hip hop influence ANYwhere?? I listen to country radio to avoid that stuff! >:(
Sigh.
