I think Female Vocalist comes down to a battle between Sara and Terri. I just can't see them giving it to Martina again despite her still selling far better than those two. Reba is a darkhorse though. After being shutout since 1987, they could feel like she is due. My prediction remains that Terri will take it.

I would like to see Sara Evans win the award. Terri Clark is a good artist too. Either one of them would be great. I like to see first time winners get these awards.

USA Today's predictions:
Entertainer Brooks & Dunn Kenny Chesney Alan Jackson Toby Keith Tim McGraw
Should win: Jackson is the Thoroughbred here.
Will win: With a hugely successful tour, Chesney could make his first-ever win the big one.
Female Vocalist Terri Clark Sara Evans Alison Krauss Martina McBride Reba McEntire
Should win: Krauss and McBride are the best pure singers; I'm partial to Krauss.
Will win: Clark's hit streak primes her for her first victory.
Male Vocalist Kenny Chesney Alan Jackson Toby Keith George Strait Keith Urban
Should win: Reigning champ Jackson expressed a desire tabdicate on last year's show, but he still deserves the nod.
Will win: Once again, a battle between Chesney and Keith, and this time I'll predict it's Keith.
Group of the Year Alabama Diamond Rio Lonestar Rascal Flatts Trick Pony
Should win: In this crowd, I'm inclined to be sentimental and give one more to Alabama.
Will win: Rascal Flatts, no doubt.
Duo of the Year Big & Rich Blue County Brooks & Dunn Montgomery Gentry Warren Brothers
Should win: Big & Rich were the most innovative act in mainstream country.
Will win: Brooks & Dunn are on a creative roll and should hold on for their 12th win in 13 years.
Album of the Year Brooks & Dunn, Red Dirt Road Kenny Chesney, When the Sun Goes Down Toby Keith, Shock'n Y'All Brad Paisley, Mud on the Tires Gretchen Wilson, Here for the Party
Should win: Paisley displayed the widest artistic range.
Will win: Again, this may be Chesney's year ... or Keith's.
Single of the Year Alan Jackson, Remember When Toby Keith, I Love This Bar Tim McGraw, Live Like You Were Dying Brad Paisley with Alison Krauss, Whiskey Lullaby Gretchen Wilson, Redneck Woman
Should/will win: Wilson's instant anthem set a new, upbeat tone for Nashville 2004.
Song of the Year Live Like You Were Dying (performed by McGraw) Long Black Train (Josh Turner) Redneck Woman (Wilson) Remember When (Jackson) Whiskey Lullaby (Paisley/Krauss)
Should win: This songwriter's award deserves to go to the poignant Whiskey.
Will win:Live Like You Were Dying will edge Redneck Woman.
Musical Event of the Year Norah Jones with Dolly Parton, Creepin' In Jimmy Buffett with Clint Black, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith & George Strait, Hey Good Lookin' James Taylor and Alison Krauss, How's the World Treating You Kenny Chesney with Uncle Kracker, When the Sun Goes Down Brad Paisley with Alison Krauss, Whiskey Lullaby
Should win: Paisley/Krauss was the most affecting of these special-event records.
Will win: Buffett & Co. assembled too much star power to lose.
Horizon Award Dierks Bentley Big & Rich Julie Roberts Josh Turner Gretchen Wilson
Should win: It's a close call in this emerging-artist category between Big & Rich and their close associate Wilson; either would be fine.
Will win: Wilson was the year's hottest newcomer.

I don't think there will be too many upsets. I am calling Big and Rich over Brooks and Dunn now.
Alison Krauss is gonna serve the other bitches up on a silver platter this year. In a year that no female artist was huge, talent will win out, and Krauss just might be the most talented to ever sing this genre. After next year, she'll probably be the most winning artist in Grammy history, the CMA's will catch up this year.
