So I guess Billy is done with his debut album after only two singles. This is an excellent album and a shame if they stop pushing singles off of it. With his mega duet coming out in days I would think that they are done with his album.

Maybe he will release a third single once "Party of Two" has run its course.
Does anyone know where "Walk a Little Straighter" peaked on Billboard?

That would be a long wait. At least Thanksgiving and maybe Christmas. Who knows??

That would be a long wait, however imagine how much more popular he will be as a resullt of the Shania song. A delayed third single could succeed.

I dunno... the duet is not doing too well. I hope this duet does not reflect negatively on Billy. He has a great voice and such potential before this song. That would be a long waith, however imagine how much more popular he will be as a resullt of the Shania song. A delayed third single could succeed.

Yeah, when I made my post I had yet to hear the song. I'm not a fan of "Party of Two". It's okay, but Billy had two good Top 10 singles in a row, and then we get this. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I disagree with some of you. Just by the fact Shania is singing with him draws huge attention. It doesn't matter where the single ends up on country radio. Billy went to Germany to perform with her and will perform again at the CMA awards and GOOD MORNING AMERICA. Shania is huge around the world, country single don't really matter to her, she knows programmers hate her and labels pay for spins. But Billy is getting alot of exposure and it will do nothing but help him. Also, Shania's PF2 reached the top 20 in 4 weeks. FAFA reaced the top 20 in 9 weeks and was a top 5. Nobody knows where PF2 will end up.It could be a top 5 or even #1. Songs lose and gain plays and spins everyday and change direction an momemtum. Either way just by doing this duet has exposed Billy to millions more fans worlwide. On a side note, I love the song and video.

I just wonder if the Billy version was the one released everywhere. I figure everyone other than here heard the McGrath version (which is really bad), so if this song dosen't go very high, I wonder if he wishes that he released something from his album instead. But you know what they say about hindsight. They said Shania Twain and Billy jumped. Who wouldn't?

However, he has been the only one to perform PFT with Shania, here and overseas. What do you mean by Shania and Billy jumped?

The record label said Shania Twain, and Billy jumped at the chance to sing with her thinking of the exposure that it would bring him being such a new artist. I left out the comma in my first post. Sorry!

Sorry! And I don't think anyone would argue that he hasn't gotten exposure. He has gotten on a lot of shows that he otherwise would not have gotten on..

I agree that Billy has drawn attention he wouldn't have gotten otherwise. For example, he was the ONLY new artist not up for an award who sang, right? :)

That is a good observation about him being the only new performer not nominated. I think he should have been nominated over Julie Roberts. Her one single didn't even make the top 20 did it?
