No wonder why some of the songs I thought would become hits got/ are getting rejected. I never knew some of them were that old...

Updated Nelly on page 4, who's 41 and at #40 (Mediabase published) with "Die A Happy Man." Could you add Ronnie Milsap who was 40 when "Stranger in My House" charted?

Added Ronnie Milsap on page 4.
And although I'm getting ahead of myself, I added Enrique Iglesias, who'll be 41 on May 8. It's safe to assume that "Messin' Around" will still be in the Top 40 by then.
It'll be interesting to see if Belly can finally the Top 40, who are currently in the Top 50. "Feed The Tree" hit the alternative chart in 1993, so their members must be pretty old now.

Two different Bellys. The, current, charting single is by Belly the rapper (who is only 32) -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belly_(rapper)NOT Belly the alt rock group -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belly_(band)I didn't know there was more than one, at first, either.

^Thanks, I had no idea.
Anyway, just updated Sia's latest hit on page 4 from "Bang My Head" to "Cheap Thrills."
Also, I updated Hall & Oates. Their last Top 40 hit wasn't "So Close," but "Don't Hold Back Your Love."

Looks like we've got two more from this week's (6/19/16) chart:
51 48 JENNIFER LOPEZ Ain't Your Mama 504 555 -51 0.813 55 49 FAT JOE & REMY MA All The Way Up 456 394 62 1.64
J-Lo's age needs to be updated. She's 46.
Fat Joe is 45.

^Thanks. Page 4 is updated to include Sean Paul at 43 years old on "Cheap Thrills." It probably slipped past me earlier because AT40 doesn't include him.

With "Cheap Thrills" on the verge of becoming Sia's first chart topper at age 40, I started to wonder who might be the oldest artist to score their first #1 hit. I thought of a few contenders. Tina Turner was 47 when "Typical Male" became her first #1 ("What's Love Got To Do With It" didn't hit #1 on the R&R chart). Steven Tyler, the eldest member of Aerosmith, was 50 when "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" hit #1. I'm thinking the honor, probably, goes to Carlos Santana, who was 52 when "Smooth" became his first #1.

I would be so happy if Cher could scrape one more Top 50 entry just to take the top spot and be the lone person in their 70s on the list.

Here's one we all somehow overlooked: Birdman was 41 in 2010 when he was featured on Kevin Rudolf's "I Made It (Cash Money Heroes)."

If Fitz & The Tantrum's "HandClap" makes top 40, it'll give lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick his first top 40 hit at the age of 46.

If Fitz & The Tantrum's "HandClap" makes top 40, it'll give lead singer Michael Fitzpatrick his first top 40 hit at the age of 46. "The Walker" cracked the top 50 two-and-a-half years ago when Fitz was 43.

I may be getting ahead of myself, but if "Do You Mind" (currently at #32) hangs around until January 28, Rick Ross will be 41 by then.

Linkin Park are back on the pop chart, this week, with "Heavy". And they, now, qualify for the list. Members Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington are 40.
Train should have been brought up, last week, with the debut of "Play That Song". Frontman Pat Monahan's age needs to be updated. He's 47.

On page 4, I added those 2 members of Linkin Park. Also updated Pat Monahan's song and age, and the same for Daft Punk.
