This is the second single from Travis Tritt's My Honky Tonk History CD. I like it much better than anything Travis has released in the last few years, and the timing couldn't be better with the American election just a few weeks away. It's already off to a great start, and I'll predict that it can make the top 10 since the timing is so good. www1.allaccess.com/sounds/tritmell.ram

I like the song, but I don't know about top 10. Maybe top 20.

I liked this song way more than his previous effort "The Girl's Gone Wild". Too bad it looks like it could be peaking prematurely, though. The bullet is -168 today, an 11% drop for the week. It's down about a million in audience numbers in the past 5 days alone.
It first made the Top 50 on Aug 25 Top 40 Aug 31 Top 30 Oct 1 Top 20 Nov 9
(These are taken from the daily Mediabase charts, and don't reflect offcial, weekly chart positions)

What a great song! And a good move for Travis. In my opinion, his is one of the greatest voices of contemporary country, but the material he's been putting out in the past few years hasn't reflected that. He gets a moment to really shine here, perfectly matched with John Mellencamp. I really hope "What Say You" will stay on the charts for a while, but it's hard to predict these things nowadays...!
