I can't believe this CD debuted at #1?!?!? I don't think 40,000 is really a lot is it? I think it just debuted at #1 'cause there wasn't any competition. Aren't impressive debuts atleast 100,000?

This is usually a slower time for cd sales, especially compared to late Fall. In 2002, Tim McGraw sold over 600,000 copies of his "Dancehall Doctors" cd and debuted at number TWO (UP!, in its 2nd week on, held onto #1). So, definitely different from selling 40,000 and debuting at #1.

I heard this on my XM yesterday and it's not as good as I expected it to be. It is decent but not sure how much airplay it will get. She was my favorite in the Nashville Star show but I hope there is better to come from her. I agree. I liked her a lot on Star, but I expected a little more from this.

Miranda is a exceptional artist. She performed on the CMT pre-show. She sang "kerosene" and "Me and Charlie Talking". She did a awesome job and I hope that this helps promote her new album.

I also saw Miranda on the CMT Flameworthy pre-show and she did really well. I liked the song Kerosene. They should release it as a single after her new song, "Bring Me Down" has run its course.
Props to Ms. Lampert.
