This is the next single for the guys. Very good lyriclly. Hoping for something a little faster but it will come later I am sure. Anyone remember Melodie Crittenden's version? I really liked her and still listen to her disc occasionally. Should be a top 10 easily but not sure about #1. Goes for adds on November 1st which seems like a long wait with Feels Like Today already falling.

If they start it too early then it might get as high as it can right before we go with Christmas tunes ad nauseum.

I don't really like this. It's a bit better than "Feels Like Today", but that's not saying much. I think they'll continue their top 10 streak, but I can see this falling short of the top 5.

I like this song. Their next single after this better not be another slow ballad type. They are starting to seem like Lonestar.

I never thought this song would be such a likely candidate for number one. I'm happy though. It is really good.

This is/was a good song... that's been recorded at least a half dozen times by various artists. My favorite version is the Melodie Crittenden version, released in 1997, I believe.

I'm right there with ya Justin. Her's was the first and only version I have heard until RF's. They do a good job, but they just don't do it justice.

Rascal Flatts needs a real video for this song & not just a live performance! I like this a lot, top 10 for sure, top 5--nah..#1--no way..

I like this song. Their next single after this better not be another slow ballad type. They are starting to seem like Lonestar. Their next single is "Here's To You" There's already a video in the works. Last I heard, Lyric Street is only releasing 3 songs from "Feels Like Today" The Flatts are already in the studio working on their album. They opted to work with Dann Huff this time around, rather than Mark Bright/Marty Williams

This whole "3" single thing from the big labels is really irritating. Curb apparently is releasing "Drugs or Jesus" next for Tim and then no other singles after that. Which is shocking, since Blank Sheet of Paper is such an AMAZING tune. Anyway, there are always so many great songs that they could reap benefits from, so what's with the 3 single deal? A lot of labels have been doing that lately and it doesn't make sense.

Unlike Tim's album which is full of potential singles, I don't see that many on Feels Like Today. "Here's To You" should follow this song's path right to #1, but after that I can only see "Fast Cars & Freedom" really charting high. There are other good songs here, just nothing super catchy.

You're correct... RF is already cutting sides for their next album. One of the songs they will be recording (we'll have to wait and see if makes the next album or not) is the Last Man Standing ( www.lastmanstandingnashville.com) tune "Don't Hurt To Dream". It's a shame. I think "Where You Are" and "Skin" could also be radio hits for RF. DJ

Skin probably could be, and although it is starting to get some non-solicited airplay, I can't see a label releasing a hidden track as a single.

I'm actually not to surprised to see Bless The Broken Road in contention for #1. I am surprised though that they didn't shoot a proper video for it theough
After Here's To You I don't see much single potential either. So it does make since that there will only be 3 singles. I do think that Skin could somehow become an un-official single that will get picked up here and there. Who knows it might even go on to be a surprise hit since it is such a deep song.

I don't have the album but being a "sorta" fan, I would not buy the album based on these two songs. My cousin has the cd and I am borrowing it from her to see how the rest sounds. I would bet on "Here's To You" being the next single, since it is the tour title.

I actually downloaded the whole CD before it came out, and let's just say I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
It would actually be best if no more songs were released from it.

My opinion's changed a lot on this song since I first heard it. It's now probably my second favorite of theirs (after "These Days"). Loads better than "Feels Like Today", and it looks like it may make it to #1.

I see nothing to Rascal Flats. All I can say about them is they have funny hair.

With Brad & Keith losing spins, RF looks like it could spend quite awhile at #1. They're still gaining at 250, and I really can't see Alan Jackson or LeAnn Rimes going much higher. This has gotta be one of the favorites for #1 song of 2005.
