I don't really like this remix (I like verses, but not really the chorus part of it), but I'm glad it's gotten this big. I've pretty much been rooting for her since the album's been out. Everyone kept acting like she was such a failure with things not living up to the "Video Games" hype and the SNL thing got her bad publicity.
Funny thing is, how many "failures" from a (virtually) new artist like hers had a shelf life that lasted over 18 months?

The way that Lana broke through for the most part had not been done before. It's true that other acts like Lily Allen and Katy Perry started caining buzz on the net, but they needed traditional radio and single success to really break through to a large audience. Lana didn't need that, her buzz was essentially word of mouth through the internet.

I finally heard this on a radio station today. It's still so weird that after a year and a half and when it seemed like Lana's era was over and the hype had long died down, THEN she gets a pop hit out of nowhere that explodes to #2 on the radio chart. It's SO random!
I wonder if there will be other singles released from her album after Young And Beautiful? I'm betting they just move on to a new era by next June. I should check out the album again. I haven't listened to it since it was originally released.
