I was a huge fan of the original. These new versions have some nice parts, especially the Michael Woods one once the noisy parts end. The song has totally new vocals which sound radically different than the original. Duane has done some other songs recently and he still sounds great, but the soul and character in his voice is totally lost on these new versions.
