8 8 8 8 Treasure, Bruno Mars 8 Jackpot for Bruno As stupid as this is, I really get excited about these type of things happening because it rarely happens. I believe that Chris Brown "Don't Wake Me Up" did this as well. If I remember correctly it was 15 (tw) 15 (lw) 15 (# of w) but with a higher peak than that. Something along the lines of that

49 53 59 6 Crazy Kids, Ke$ha Featuring will.i.am Or Juicy J 49 Why is this being still credited this way? Hasn't the Juicy J version fallen way behind the other versions in sales now? Also the solo version is selling a good amount more than the will.i.am version, and the airplay is split some between them. I wouldn't be surprised if both will.i.am and Juicy J were to be dropped for this song's chart run.

I wouldn't be surprised if both will.i.am and Juicy J were to be dropped for this song's chart run. Billboard are VERY inconsistent with this. U.O.E.N.O by Rocko has loads of remixes which have been selling and contributing to its chart position, and none of them are getting credited. And with Bubble Butt by Major Lazer there's the 2 Chainz remix which is the one that gets played on the radio and the one that is getting streamed, and they're not crediting him. I feel like they just randomly choose who to credit sometimes... They need to have a set in stone rule (e.g. credit the song to the version which gets the most points in that week, or the one which sells the most) and always follow it.

Something along the lines of that I always thought I was the only one who noticed/cared about this. Off the top of my head, I know "Payphone" did it with 3 and "Down" by Jay Sean did it with 6. Edit: And I believe "Scream" by Usher did it with 10, not 100% sure about that one.

Any one else think Treasure has a shot at being the next #1. I think a well placed performance or tv commercial could do the trick.

I'm actually really surprised Treasure has stalled a bit. I thought for sure it was a #1 song. Still can, and another tv performance or ad would help for sure
How about Cups blowing up even more and sneaking a week @ #1? I never thought it'd hit top 40 let alone top 10. I love that song. And Anna Kendrick is smokin hot

Nothing is getting to #1 until "Blurred Lines" finally starts dying off, and as I already posted in this week's new thread, that will still be a few weeks from now. It's still got so much more room to grow in airplay and its sales are far from non-#1 status at the moment.
If I had to guess with the new info we have, "Blurred Lines" will remain #1 until the 8/29 chart. (Dated 9/7).

That Cups song is really short. I can't remember any recent songs making the top 10 with only a 2 minute running time. I saw that gaga is releasing her single 8/19, so that could end BL's run.

Bruno Mars performed "Treasure" on The Voice, and that's about as big as it gets in terms of TV exposure right now. "Blurred Lines," and to some degree, "Get Lucky," probably stole some of its thunder. But, its' still doing well- and currently in the pop top 10, as well.

I predict "Blurred Lines" to be #1 on the 07/20 07/27 08/03 08/10 08/17 08/24 charts That's 6 more weeks and with the current five week it adds up to 11 weeks at #1 taking "We Found Love"'s current place of the longest running #1 of the '00s. Gaga's lead single will debut on the 08/24 chart off airplay and will go to #1 either on the 08/31 or the 09/07 Hot 100.

^Gaga comes out of 8/19, so it won't debut until the chart released on 8/22 at the earliest (from airplay), dated 8/31. The 8/29 chart (dated 9/7) would be the one she could potentially dethrone Robin on.
