After hearing Cee Lo and Melanie's Grammy-winning, top-15 R&B hit twice today, it made me wish we had gotten a dope visual for it especially since he released them for so many other songs off the album.
What are some legitimate hits you can think of that surprisingly (or not) never got the music video treatment? I was also thinking more along the lines of songs that were, at some point, officially sent to radio by the label vs. songs that became unsolicited radio hits.

Miley Cyrus - See You Again The remix received a "live" performance music video, but that was after it had already blown up in the US and I believe it was because the remix was getting released in Australia. Ick.
Rihanna - Break It Off Was a minor hit in the US, but received no video.

Back in the day, it wasn't uncommon to hit the top 10 (Hot 100 or airplay) without a video- i.e. Madonna ("Holiday," "Angel," "Keep it Together," "Hanky Panky," "Rescue Me"), Janet Jackson ("State of the World"), Whitney Houston ("Love Will Save the Day"), Cher ("Just Like Jesse James"), etc. etc. At times, when a video wasn't shot, a live video or montage was used (i.e. "Angel" and "Dress You Up")
"Get Lucky" has done amazing things without a video.

Both of Michael Jackson's lead singles, "The Girl is Mine" and "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" had no videos, oddly.

Just To See You Smile by Tim McGraw was a huge hit back in the late 90s and never had one.

It always annoyed me that Set Fire to the Rain and to a lesser extent, Rumour Has It, didn't have videos. And Someone Like You was very lazy.

Backstreet boys - The One (couldve been bigger with a legit video WITH synchronized choreography IMO)
Has anyone noticed most pop/pop-rock videos in the 90's were extremely simple and boring? MTV wasnt showing videos much anymore and there was no YouTube, so they were sooo dull! Look up Sheryl Crow my favorite mistake

They used the live performance as the video for "Set Fire...," didn't they? Better than nothing, I s'pose.
Whitney Houston's "Didn't We Almost Have it All" didn't have a proper video- not sure if that live performance was used as the video at the time that single was out.

Looking at this thread, it makes me realize that Kylie and Janet (Control and onward) pretty much have videos for all of their singles.
I guess you could say R&B Junkie, With U, Luv, and Can't B Good didn't receive videos, but it's debatable whether those count as full single releases.
Kylie's only except is "Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)" and she even did a video for the digital-only release of "The One" in the UK and the North American-only "All I See."

"My Wish" and "Mayberry" by Rascal Flatts instantly come to mind for me.
Two number one singles that were big during their respective times, and there was no official video treatment for either of these songs.
I was especially surprised by "My Wish" not receiving an official video considering it was one of the biggest country hits of 2006, an it seemed to hit a nerve with a lot of different people.

no1curr about Australia-only singles. P!nk could have released a recording of her childbirth as a rock opera and it would have hit #1 in Australia.

no1curr about Australia-only singles. It was also released in New Zealand and some parts of Europe, I'm pretty sure. But really, it was a legit single here (it even had a CD single released), and a big hit, so I think it counts.

Yes, it was used as the official video during the time the single was out. I remember seeing it on BET all the time back in '87. Wow, I'm showing my age!
