If she's the blond with the really curly hair that looked like a rat she was downright pathetic.

Well... I have to say that I'm pretty shocked to see that Tamika has been "voted off the island". I honestly thought she would be one of the final two or three.

Tamkia Tyler was by far the best contestant. I don't think that there is anyone left on the show that makes it worth watching, except maybe LeAnn.

I *think* it was Erika Jo. Who is the one that did Break Down Here?

You've got to be kidding!!! The remaining contestants are great!!! Jason Meadows reminds me of a little combination of George Strait/Garth Brooks. I'd like to see him win the contest Tamkia Tyler was by far the best contestant. I don't think that there is anyone left on the show that makes it worth watching, except maybe LeAnn.

I was shocked to see Tamika go as well. She did act bitchy towards the younger contestants last week, but she's still miles ahead of Jody, Jenny & that boring guy who mouthed off a couple weeks ago.
I'm pulling for Jayron or Erika Jo now.
Speaking of Jayron, I think Anastasia was right when saying he should sign a Christian record deal. His song sounded more like Steven Surtis Chapman that it did a country song.

I can't stand Erika Jo! I feel like she is putting on a major front and I can't get into her songs either. Theres just something odd about her, can't put my finger on it. My vote was for Tamika.

I too cannot stand Erika Jo. People thought Tamika was being stuck up or something? Well how Erika Jo can think she has as much experience in the business as someone in their 30's is beyond me. I'm the same age as her and I still know that anyone that much older than me realistically has more experience.
Tamika was amazing, the way she opened Martina McBride's "When God Fearin' Women Get The Blues" still amazes me.

If Erika Jo is tbe one that sang Break Down Here, she's the one that I expect to win....although I dont watch the show. No one else on the show has anything vocally and that one that someone mentioned sounded like garth/george needs to go because we don't need more singers to sound like others. That's not original.

In the clips, Tamika kind of came across as if she were putting down Erika Jo/Casey. That might not have been her intention, but the way it was edited made it seem that way. From what I've been reading on some other boards, apparently quite a few people felt that Tamika was "arrogant".
I can't say I was too impressed with "Originals Night". While Jody's performance was kind of off, I felt his song was the best written. Jayron's voice is lovely, but his original sounds too much like other songs I've heard recently.
Erika Jo is just okay to me. I think in a couple of years she'll probably be quite good. Justin bugs me beyond reason - terrible cliched song along with poor vocals. I think it's hilarious how Jenny hyped up her songwriting last week saying that's what made her stood out, and then when (after her own lackluster performance) asked by LeAnn whether she'd prefer to write hit songs or sing, she picks performing as her "love".
Jason: Nothing wrong with him, but I can't say there's much about him that would compel me to buy his album (although that's true for just about everyone on the show at this point). I'd have to hear some other songs from him first.

The final three were just announced. Jason Meadows, Erika Jo & Jody Evans.
Jody sucks, kind of a rockability Dwight Yoakam wannabe. I'm shocked he made it.
The other two pretty much deserve to be there.

Jody Evans is awful. If people think he will have success in mainstream country, they are fooling themselves!

she was my pick from the very beginning! I really do see her doing well in her career.
Her new single, "I Break Things" goes to radio. I loved it! I really hope she's not "Brad Cotter part 2"

I am glad she is the new Nashville Star. I haven't watched the show but twice this season, and both times she has impressed me. Her single "I Break Things" is very fresh! I like it.

It seems like Brad wasn't pushed enough. They should have released I Miss Me first. I think that is the song that won it for him. The first single was a snoozer and it was all downhill form there. Erika Jo was my pick of the final five so I am glad she made it through. Her single sounds good and should make an instant impact being that it will be in everyone's faces first thing in the morning. It will be interesting to see which stations will hang on to the single and run with it and who will drop it Thursday.
This show really needs a makeover. The judges HAVE to have more imput than "Wow that was good!" They need to vote until it gets down to five. These judges are professionals which you would think they could pick the good from the bad. LeAnn did a decent job as hostess and will probably return. She should have had more oppourtunities to push her album since she has been AWOL for a while and really needs all the help she can get. At least sing her new single after You Take Me Home was shelved for Probably Shouldn't.....
