I had heard through someone this would be the next single, but was waiting for confirmation from a more reputable site.
If this is in face the next single, it wouldn't have been my choice, but it's a good song. I think it'll do well though. Good message, plus I'm sure the younger crowd will think the line that says "everybody just wants to get high" is funny. ;)

Is this the confirmed third single? All Access doesn't list anything.

I work at the publishing company for one of the writer's of "Drugs and Jesus" and he was given confirmation back in November that this is WILL be the 3rd single.
Expect Early/Mid February impact date

Expect Early/Mid February impact date Wow, Curb must really be thinking that Back When will be having a large recurrent status, since it's already hit its peak. That's almost a month away for the add date.

I'm inclined to think that their line of reasoning stems from the fact that 'Back When' would have spent FIVE weeks at #1, and extending Tim's lead as the artist with the most weeks at #1 in the history of either BB or R&R if it hadn't been for Blake Shelton's label going on that middle-of-the-night spin buying spree several weeks ago.
In their eyes, 'Back When' is still in the top three nationally, and has not gone recurrent; consequently his label feels they can hold off on releasing a new single until next month.
With TWO songs among the top 5 recurrents right now, and with SIX thousand plus spins combined according to the R&R website, he's definitely THE man at country radio these days.

I like this, but it's a surprising choice for a single at this stage. I thought that something more radio-friendly, like "Blank Sheet Of Paper", would have been the third single. That being said, this is a very good song, and should continue Tim's streak of #1s.

If he does release a live CD this fall, as some have stated on this board, then he'll undoubtedly have two or three more singles from this CD.
He pulled SIX singles from 'Everywhere', and had FIVE number one singles, and one number two single.
If anybody can match that feat, he's definitely THE person to do it!!!!!!!

I don't see why this can't become his sixth consecutive #1 single.
With at least two more singles coming from this CD ('How Bad Do You Want It?' is a candidate, thanks partially to being exposed on Monday Night Football several weeks ago, he's certainly on teack to be the #1 singles artist of the year in R&R, with Kenny Chesney & Keith Urban in VERY hot pursuit.

Yeah...LeAnn "NBLMS" started off at the very bottom as well and is Top 5 call-out this week.

I love this song. It is really good, and one of the better McGraw singles ever.
I think this will go top 5, not sure about number one. I would love to see it though.
Three great singles in a row for Mr. McGraw.

Sounds like he's on his way to his SIXTH straight #1 single, easily the best streak of anybody out there.

This song has a nice message... but... it's just soo... I mean... it's not as if everybody is on a path to either drugs or Jesus... kinda silly.
