I've always wondered how long it takes to pull a tour together.
From the time a decision is made to tour, how long does it take to rehearse, reserve arenas, build a stage, etc. Also, what order do things need to be done in?

Reba has said it has taken up to 9 months to plan her large, 80-city tours that she did in the 90s. For something a little smaller, I'd say somewhere between 5-6 months.

Shania took most of 2003 to plan her Up! Tour. She rehearsed for 2 weeks. The resevering part probably takes 2-3 months, sometimes citys are booked while the tour is going on. The stage is probably the biggest task. I bet Shania's took 4-6 months to make.
Order would be plan tour-build stage-book cities-rehearse.
