This guy is only 18 and what an amazing song that he had a hand in writing! His single is up to #26 on R&R.
The album hit stores TODAY. It is amazing.

It's definitely a traditional sounding album with many ballads. Should be interesting to see how things to out for this youngster.

Yes, I downloaded the song after the first time I heard it. I'm thinking this guy has a big future ahead of him. Song hits home to a lot of people!

He sounds a lot older! Heard this on KZLA today. I liked the lyrics, but I'm not a fan of the song as a whole.

Just for the record he didn't write How do you get that lonely, but he did cowrite a couple things on the album. I like his cd but I'm really curious how much of an artist he is or if it is the work of his producer putting him with great writers and fiinding great songs to sing. There is certainly nothing wrong with that if that's the case because alot of singers do that in this town. I guess only time will tell if we can truly call him an artist or just a singer. Definitely a solid first album just not sure how much of him it actually is.

Am I cold and cruel to say that I don't particularly care for this song? It doesn't hit me like I thought it would after hearing everyone ranting and raving over it.

Am I cold and cruel to say that I don't particularly care for this song? It doesn't hit me like I thought it would after hearing everyone ranting and raving over it. Not at all. When I first heard it I wasn't sure, until I heard the line about...get that lonely, and nobody knew. (paraphasing) That is what struck a cord with me....nobody knew. I guess too, because a friend told me about a magazine article she had read recently about a boy and suicide, and the parents didn't have a clue their young son was being bullied. It happens in real life.
