Many years ago I was listening to NPR and heard a show about a U.S. Latin artist who's music was sort of a zany mix of Latin, big band, meets the marx brothers. All kinds of quirky sound affects and vocals mixed with some really fine Latin jazz.

Does anyone have a clue who this might be?
