Kim Weston was one of the many female vocalists at Motown who never got her due. She had a powerful, beautiful vocal instrument and some terrific material, but never quite became the star she deserved to be.
Despite that, she had a few hits, and one of them was this percolating little number, another HDH production which reached #50 Pop and #4 R&B in 1965.
This was later covered by the Doobie Brothers in 1975, and it reached #11 on the Hot 100.
