Jamie O'Neal's new CD "Brave" has a listening party on CMT.com. I like the song "Niave."

This is a really solid album. I picked it up yesterday, and I think I like it better than her debut, which I was also a big fan of. I still can't believe that Mercury dropped her after her first two singles went #1 amd her album went gold.
The standouts on the album, for me, are "Trying To Find Atlantis", "Naive", "Somebody's Hero" (the confirmed second single), "When Did You Know" and "On My Way To You", though there's nothing I don't like. A lot of the songs (especially SH and WDYK) sound like songs that Martina McBride would record.

With the popularity of Gretchen Wilson's songs aimed at females, I was thinking "Girlfriends" would be a good choice for third single.
I agree that this is a solid album. It's good to hear Jamie back on the radio again.

It is a solid album. I would choose "Girlfriends" and "I Love My Life" as the other two singles, after "Somebody's Hero".

Devil on the Left is a kickass song, but something I'm sure radio won't play since it mentions a stripper. Heck of a funky beat and just a great, fun song.

I heard this debuts @ #6 on the country albums chart. Does anyone have the hard numbers?

25,415 copies sold in it's first week at retail. I guess that's good, but I was hoping for better.

Just curious....is 25,000 copies for the first week considered good, great, not good? I guess it depends on if it's a new artist, or an established artist, wouldn't it?

And the time of the year For Jamie and for early year, yes that is very good. I mean, some albums can push 300-400k this time of year (country) but albums from Shania/Tim can bring 700-900k in the fall.

Props to Jamie! That song made a great debut on the country billboard. (way better than metro hotel)
