I think the timing for this is gonna be just right. I can see this becoming #1 just after Roar has peaked. (Not taking into account other possible competition)

If "Werk Bitch" is indeed the title, I hope that means we'll get some Urbanney; I'd love that tb.h

I am in denial and I refuse to believe "Werk Bitch" is the title of her lead single, despite I find Bradley Stern (MuuMuse) as a very reliable source.
On the other hand, as a side note, when "Gimme More" dropped, I always wondered why Britney/her team didn't put in parenthesis It's Britney Bitch in the title of the song, being "Gimme More (It's Britney Bitch)". So, if Britney/her team go with "Werk Bitch", I wouldn't mind if it's in parenthesis, being it "TBA (Werk Bitch)".

Werk Bitch is too ratchet for Brit. We all know how cute she is. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if 'werk bitch' is a lyric but the title? Not so much. She can't go from releasing a song for a kids movie to that and her team knows it.

If this will sell like Hold It Against Me on it's first week plus radio support, will it debut at #1?

If Werk Bitch is the title it is smart. She is basically letting people know she is coming to put in "Werk", and show everyone she still has it. I think she is trying to make a statement with it if it really is the title.

The only issue I see with a song with that title and the lyric is that many stations might not play the version with the word "bitch" in it uncensored. A clean/censored version of the song would basically defeat the purpose of the song. Some of my local stations played "Gimme More" with the word censored in the intro, and same with "Scream & Shout." Some of the other stations played it with that word not censored. But it seems really odd that the radio stations decide what songs will be played with certain words censored and not censored. My local station plays Miley's "We Can't Stop" with the word "Molly" censored most of the time but they play the Cedric Gervais track of the same name sometimes with it uncensored. It's really weird.

That's another issue but I'm sure her team has everything already planned out. Real title or not, the Army is wasting no time! :'(

"Kiss You All Over" is kind of flat as is, but it had a lot of potential. It would've fit in perfectly before or after "Hot As Ice." I LOVE that song. Damn. I always thought Britney was OK...until I heard Slave and then it was pure love. Britney, as an album, was fairly disposable but I thought she was just getting started. In The Zone was the first album of Britney's I actually purchased and I have purchased every one sense. I really liked Circus at the time and now that I am looking at the track listing, I still think it is one of my favorite albums of hers. Mannequin used to be one of my workout songs. I still get chills from the rehearsal footage. Shattered Glass, Kill The Lights, and Blur are underrated, in my opinion. My favorite Britney album will always be Blackout, of course, but, since I like every song on Femme Fatale, I will have to put that next to it. In The Zone would have been completely flawless, if not for the woeful inclusion of Brave New Girl, which sounds like a...Pepsi commercial. I didn't really love Touch Of My Hand, despite the subject matter, or The Showdown either, come to think of it. With all the Britney frenzy starting, I figured it was time to take a trip down memory lane. Glad I did.

I said in the other thread I didn't really care what the title is, but upon reflection, I'm no liking the idea of "Werk Bitch". I know that the "Bitch" catchprase has really become her thing, but how many more times can she use it until people get tired of it. The big fans such as the ones on this board may never, but catchprases and references such as this don't last quite as long with the general public. How long before Britney's "bitch"s become unwelcome and tired?

It's already been 6 years since it became iconic so I don't think it'll burn out at this point.

If this will sell like Hold It Against Me on it's first week plus radio support, will it debut at #1? mostly likely not if they premiere the song on radio on a Monday. It may debut based on airplay alone, just like Roar did (but Applause failed to do). Then she could JUMP to #1 the following week.

I don't care if the song is called "all eyes on me" "werk" "werk bitch" "twerk it out with Britney Spears" etc etc etc I just hope I love it as much as I loved Hold it against, Gimmie More me & 3!
While I'm not an out and loud Brit Brit sta/n, I do on occasion sit in my closet and jam to Blackout <3 So I'm game for this!

Lol at atrlers shading this song like they weren't talking about it earlier. Watch werk b smash and all these scaredy cats thrown off by a title will be blasting it at every given opportunity. When has britney not delivered? Even femme fatale delivered...something.

I hope this is a Toxic or Everytime (it would be nice if she pass on the tendency of dance songs and release a ballad) kind of song. You never know how radio is going to react to her songs (i still don't understand why If you seek Amy wasn't a bigger hit) but her first single it will be a big big hit for sure. Even Hold it against me was one (i hated that song till a heard a ballad version of it, and surprise it was a great song, what i didn't like it was the tempo and the production).
Anyway, the chart will be full of pop divas fighting for the top spot, it will be very funny to watch

Over the years I alternated between bashing half of her catalogue (first half) and liking for the most part the second half of her catalogue, she has me on the cusp and I will be rooting for her but I wanna make it known if she disappoints me, the bitch is done. If she gives me that Gimme More teas then call him a motherfucking stan! A lot rides on this single.

The title gives me secondhand embarrassment. Reminds me of when my Mom tries to use slang to sound cool and hip still, but messes it up slightly and then I want to die.

K let me address the "title" and why it won't suck in two weeks: @chrswith1eye: "I'm sure if Slave 4 U was announced today everyone would be shitting on that title." that is 100% true. good point, internet. Werk Bitch is too ratchet for Brit. We all know how cute she is. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if 'werk bitch' is a lyric but the title? Not so much. Like can you imagine if Gimme More was called Britney Bitch! Lol. You all forget that she released 'Ooh La La' immidiately following the 'Scream & Shout (Remix)'. This era is all but confirmed to be a hot ass urban shitshow. Just let her be great.

I dream of the day when I can safely walk down my street singing to Hold it against Me.
