This song will definitely be a strong single for Reba as was He Gets That From Me and I love the song My Sister its like explaining the sisterhood my friend and I share. I can't wait too see what she comes up with for this song in video. He Gets That For Me was so personal for me when it first hit the video channels I was surprised as I had GAC on and was talking to my daughter when I heard it and spun around and watched it and it was telling the story of my life. That song will always be #1 with me and so will Reba. I sent her a christmas card to her warner brothers address too tell her how special of a person I thought she was and how I loved her songs. I also told her how much the He Gets That From Me had impacted me and my daughter and how I adored the song and told her that I thought that she had the special talent of being able too make a song video that is so real too real life. I sent it too her in december christmas of course and in February I got this big grey envelope addressed too me and I thought it was like a telemarketer through the mail and was going to just throw it away cause there was no return address on it saying where it had come from. Anyway I decided too open it and was surprised with a picture of the whole cast of Reba with all there autographs on it and I will tell you this I never recieved anything from any star that I have ever written and I have not written that many. I only wrote Reba because as a fan I wanted her too know how much I respected her as a singer and actress. Reba will always be a step up for me for the kindness she shows from her heart as does Shania and Martina. As for sappy songs I love those songs cause they are the songs that shine through and mean the most. If any of you want too call Martina songs sappy go ahead but this person is a fan of Martina I have seen her in concert with her production of Joy and she was wonderful she came out in the audience and talked to the fans one on one she gave hugs too some guys that wanted hugs and she invited over 200 kids on stage to read the night before christmas too. Security tried to stop some kids from going up and Martina told securtity let them come up here this is for them. She also showed a home movie of christmas day in her house the year before and I have the utmost respect for her as I do Reba and like I said Shania oh and Dolly too. These women are great singing artists and are always going to be tops with me.

She truly cares about her fans. Carolyn Dawn Johnson is the same way. CDJ comes on her message board often and just chats with fans and updates them on what's going on. These people are true entertainers. No matter how busy and hectic their lives get, they always make time for fans.

That is really good to hear I love Carolyn Dawn Johnson and its really good to hear that she stays connected to her fans. I got one more artist like that though and I will be going too see him in Virginia on April 30th. His name is Jimmy Wayne he is one of the newer artists and he has a message board that he posts on regularly in his guestbook. We keep one page open for him and he lets us know what he is doing and how he is doing and is constantly thanking us for all the help we give him for his shows. I contacted a place in Georgia called Lake Winnepahsaukah to book him and told them he was worth checking into and gave them his information and they did book him for July 31st. So I am headed too Georgia that week. My daughter likes him also. I also am a fan club member of Rascal Flatts and right now there is a still cam that they have set up in the studio too watch the guys put some tracks down for the new album and I got too watch Joe Don and Jay all day today and man it is really cool too see them at work in the studio it gives you a new appreciation for what the guys go through. :)

Reba's up 6 to #51 on Billboard, and she moves to #47 on R&R. Her bullet is starting to really pick up, so hopefully top 40 is only a couple weeks away.

Up to #41 on R&R, and #42 on Billboard. Her bullet keeps increasing on Mediabase, and she looks to have no problem making the top 40 on both charts next week.

This song is SO boring! I don't think Reba sounded very good on the CMT awards either.

I think this song is totally cheesy. There's a fine line between sentimental and cheesy.

On Friday May 13th (my birthday!) Reba will be performing on the Today show for their Summer Concert Series at Rockefeller Center. I'll have to remember to set my VCR - Reba always does a great job at these things. I get to see her in concert again Tuesday May 10th. I'm really looking forward to it; I've seen her twice before and she always puts on a great show. "My Sister" moves to #30 on both charts this week.

Anyone have the sales figures for Room to Breathe? I know it's gone gold, how close are we to platinum? (Far, I fear...)

Probably not. Last I saw she was around 700K, meaning with record club sales, she's probably closing in on Platinum.

I saw her again in concert last night, and she was great as usual. She performed a lot of songs from RTB - 6 in total, plus "Moving Oleta" and "Love Revival" (she did LR last year too). She also did a couple medlies of her songs, as a way to fit more songs into her concert. She did "Can't Even Get The Blues" as a part of one of the medlies - I haven't heard that song in forever. It was a great show as usual, hopefully she'll come back next year.

#26 R&R, #29 Billboard
Her bullet is up to 259, so it looks like she's really starting to take off.

Room To Breathe is back on the BB200 at #152, still plugging along.
ExtremeReba is reporting that rather than the new album we previously thought, Reba will be releasing a compilation of all of her #1 hits (like the George Strait and Alabama discs) with two new songs in the fall.

Not sure I like this idea. She had a greatest hits out, then only one studio album, and now another compilation? I was hoping for at least another studio album.

Can Perp or someone else tell me where My Sister is this week on Billboard and R&R. If she hasn't fallen this week, I know she will very soon. I was so hoping she could itch her way into the top ten.

Reba's #13 this week on R&R, but she's losing spins and audience.
On Billboard she's already gone recurrent this week. Her song would have been 21 weeks old this week, so it qualified (barely) for going recurrent, and because she was losing audience, that was it. Game over. sometimes on Billboard, all it takes is one down week and you're gone. Other times, you can be falling for weeks on end and stay around.

Thanks Perp.
Oh well. I don't think we'll have to wait much longer for her new single from the new cd since the cd is scheduled for release in October or November.
By the way, how could she already be recurrent while Blake nor Urban are recurrent?

Songs without an audience bullet on Billboard in the mid-teens, if they're at least 20 weeks (or OVER 20 weeks... I'm not sure which) are in danger of going recurrent. It's that arbitrary #15 cutoff point that does it. Blake Shelton and Keith Urban's songs are well over the 20 week age limit, but neither one has fallen below #15 yet, so they're still around. Last week Reba was #16 on BB, and in that danger zone where if you're an older song, you don't want to have a bad week.

And the rule now is: songs below #15 that are either losing spins OR losing audience may be removed from the current chart. Only if the song is gaining in both audience AND spins is it safe. BB will no doubt make some exceptions; they always have.
