Uhm...yeah.

I think the key words there are "in its first few months of release." There are plenty of album tracks that have sold incredibly well, but I can't think of any that sold over 700k in its first 2.5 months of release.

As far as album track sales go, I know "Set Fire to the Rain" was around 1 million by the time it was a single and "Rumour Has It" was around 600k or so. There's also some Eminem track that name escapes me that has sold over 1 million as well as Taylor Swift's "Forever & Always." I know there's more that I'm just not thinking of right now.

No, it could be anyone. It could be Rihanna. I'm just saying its unusual for a promo single to stick around this long, and not have a solid "game changer" mask behind it. This isn't the norm, and you know that.

Lol, the exact same thing happened to me when I heard it for the first time on radio a few weeks ago. I got super excited like it was a lesser known artist I loved that I was finally hearing on the radio. Like how excited I was with Lana and SS this past summer.
