With this song atop my personal chart, I thought I'd bring this topic back from the deep (3 month-long) grave. It's struggling a little bit on the national charts, but it's not doing too badly for a Pat Green single.
This song was written by Pat along with Rob Thomas (yes, the Matchbox 20 guy gone solo with the Hot AC #1 smash "Lonely No More"). It has a nice arrangement, although some long-time fans may think Pat's gone a little too Nashville with this one. As far as I'm concerned, it's a great head-nodder.

Is there a video for this song? I don't believe so, sad to say. I can imagine some good visual effects, such as a flashback to the woman's past life as the 'baby doll'.

I just went to Pat Green's message board. Apparently, there will be a video for Baby Doll. Video premiere- CMT's Top 20 Countdown June 23rd 4:30PM I hope this info is correct as I would like Pat to have some success with this song.

The song has just completed its 18th Billboard chart week, and is struggling to maintain a bullet. I don't see why they're rushing to get a video out -- take your time, give it another 8 or 9 weeks, what's the hurry?
