This seems to be struggling. Celine is in a rough place now because AC has moved away from "core AC" artists and has become closer to what Hot AC used to be. Most of the hits there are former CHR/Pop hits. Aging pop artists used to have AC to fall back on, but that's looking to not really be the case anymore.

Yep, AC is not what it used to be. Elton John's single has reached top 15, but we're talking about just a couple of million in audience.

I thought this song was really bland when I first heard it, but I've been playing it on my current playlist and it has grown on me.

It is unfortunate. I always liked switching over to AC to listen to some of the older artists' new singles. Now, it's just a glacially paced version of Hot AC of songs that have already been played to death on CHR/Pop.
