Helmed by Acid Rap staples Nate Fox, Cam and Peter Cottontale, and powered by an almost unrecognizable MJ/ “Go’on girl” sample, the relationship-themed track lands as a triumphant–and official single worthy–clash of old gen and new gen hip hop kings, finding Chance zoning out over a potential happily-ever-after boo-friend as only he can with a somersault-like tornado of finely detailed wordplay (“You the best bride and I’m the best groom/ Wedding presents got my best man at Best Buy buyin’ the Best of Fresh Prince for the bedroom”), and subsequently squeezing out one of Wayne’s best D5 verses as Tunechi cycles through one his own groupie tales in which he amusingly does his best to avoid giving in to a partner’s desperate yearn for some depth to their union.
More of these two together please.
