Go figure.... Curb has pushed back the release date of Trick Pony's album R.I.D.E. yet again. This is, if I'm not mistaking, the 4th time Curb has pushed it back. June 14th is the new date.
It's no wonder why Curb is so, um, "disliked" by most folks in Nashville.

Remember how they kept pushing Leann's This Woman back? Same thing with Amy Dalley. "I Would Cry" is her 5th single and the album still hasn't been released.

CURB does do a lot of odd things. Although, come to think of it their singles have charted really well lately.
Top 10 Singles from Billy Dean(who would have thought that would happen), Jo Dee Messina(she finally cracks the top 10 again), LeAnn Rimes(Top 5 for the first time in 6 and a half years, Tim Mcgraw(his streak of number ones looks pretty good).

Look how long Jo Dee has been waiting to release this album! I think She has had it finished for like 4 years! When I saw her in the fall of 2001 she played "Im Not Goin Down", but Curb decided on a Greatest Hits instead and sent her back into the studio without Tim McGraw as a producer, and still look how long it has taken. I remember when it was supposed to come out last April, then it was September 28 2004 now its April 26th. I hope some of these artists find new labels when their contracts are up!
