Josh Gracin recently stated that "Brass Bed" will be the third and final single from his debut album. Apparently he will have another CD out by the end of 2005. AUDIO LINK :)

I think you mistakenly linked to some pop-rock band's snippet...

Josh Gracin's label was letting "Nothing To Lose" run it's course, but has set April 11th as the official add date for his next single
The song may now be entitled "Stay With Me (Brass Bed)".

I have to say after one listen, this one's more for the gals out there. Musically it's not bad... I like the mandolin touch.
No offense meant, but I find it a bit too sappy for my tastes... I'm just speaking as a guy. I'm pretty sure the female audience (which this one seems aimed for) will get more passionate about it.

This is the first JG single that I don't feel overly excited about. It is okay... nothing spectacular. It is too much like Raining On Sunday to me and so, it loses its musical appeal.

If this single does well is there any chance for another single off the album? Wheels is an excellent song and would be great for an early fall release.

This song is doing really well. Weird that nobodys had anything to say about it for like 6 months. Is it helping his album much? It seemed to drop off the top 100 fairly quickly and I dont recall it re-entering even when his last single went to #1.
Also, i saw some pictures of him recently and he seems to have gained a huge amount of weight. I suppose country artists aren't under as much pressure as most to look their best, (Apart from the glam girls like Faith and Shania) but it still surprised me. He must have gained like 50 pounds.

His album re-entered the Billboard 200 back in July and has been in the lower half of the chart ever since. I haven't seen exact figures in a while, but I think it's past 500,000 sold by now.

i think his album is around 550,000 sold now. he's usally around #130-150 on the BB200. i think that he's the 5th best selling Idol (kelly, clay, ruben, fantasia, josh... that's pretty crazy) This song is also now in the itunes top 100 songs (#91). I really like this song.
I'm quite proud to say that i voted for josh gracin all through season 2! and i'm a little suprised at the success he's had that other idol's haven't. good for him!!!

Josh has done amazingly well, beinng he is the first IDOL to break country music. Its rare when any artists first three singles all go top 5. Hopefully fellow Idol Alumni Carrie Underwood also see's this success, these two should do a duet together, that would be cool
