Just for fun. What do you think are the worst, most amazingly bad albums to be marketed in country music in the last ten years?

Neither Come On Over or Up! are even remotely bad.

Just ignore this joke account! He/she/It is the resident troll from the Shania board down at CMT.

Neither Come On Over or Up! are even remotely bad. Well, over 120 Music Critics of major Newspapers and Music Mags gave the albums less than 2 star, that's why I included them (and UP was named by DETAILS and SPIN mags one of the worst albums to be released in 2002)

Why are Alecia, Rascal Flatts Melt, and SHeDAISY's Whole Shebang included??
As far as I'm concerned that title could go to WAY more than one CD which is why I can't vote.

Yeah, there are a lot of albums that I would have included other than SheDAISY (I love that album, especially the remix)

And don't forget that BILLBOARD magazine acknowledged recently that TWIM,COO and UP were all grossly overshipped and overcertified ...

And don't forget that BILLBOARD magazine acknowledged recently that TWIM,COO and UP were all grossly overshipped and overcertified ... You are so clueless. Come On Over is the biggest selling country album of all time...it doesn't take much for 1 person to talk out of their ass but it is moronic to say that 20 Million people do! And how in the hell are Shania's albums overcertified? It would be impossible anyway. Overcertification only occurs when an album fails to live up to the hype of the initial shipment, the RIAA aren't going to keep re-certifying albums for the hell of it, it doesn't work like that. In case you didn't realize, Shania's albums have all been re-certified over the years which shows that she is still selling and stores are in need of more shipments. Lets see, Shania's GH is certified 3x Platinum and sold over 2.8 Million through Soundscan so that is no way near "overcertified". COO is certified 20x Platinum, it has sold 15.5 million through Soundscan, over 3 Million in Record clubs and probably around 1 Million in store chains not counted by SS so how is 19/20Million "overcertified"? Up! has shipped 5.5 Million copies and sold over 5.2 Million through SS so that is also no way near "overcertified". TWIM i'm not sure about but that would just follow a similar pattern as above, so please don't post on subjects you clearly know nothing about! K?

Kevy:BILLBOARD magazine acknowledged it and it's not an unusual thing for certain labels to overship artists in order to feed hype.
The respected industry magazine published the real numbers for albums sold and shipped in Shania's catalogue:
COO- shipped 20 -sold 17 TWIM- shipped 12 sold 10 UP shipped 5.5 sold 4.6 (doubly certified as 11 million because double discs are counted as two units)
However, the label and the fans keep "selling" the idea that UP sold 11 million copies in the States. To feed the hype that will actually help it sell more.

You are so clueless. Come On Over is the biggest selling country album of all time.. It is the biggest shipping album by a solo female ever...but I wouldn't go so far as to call it country. Unless you think soulless, robotic corporate pop music adorned with a few computer-created mandolins and fiddles is true country music?

I'm not going to even bother even argueing with you anymore seeing how you cannot accept simple facts and are oblivious to the truth.
