Here in Dallas, back in the early to mid 90s, KERA used to have a Saturday afternoon & evening music show that played some great, albeit obscure music. I still remember parts of a particular song, and hoping that someone else out there can help me find it.
The song had no words per se, but had two distinctive parts I still remember: 1) In one part of the song, an audience full of clapping was slowly reduced over the course of 15-20 seconds to a lone clapper, clapping out a specific rhythm. 2) Later in the song, there was a female acapella vocal, but just "bop bop bop, babadabbada da bade bop" or something like that.
There was more to the song, these are just the parts that have stuck with me after nearly 20 years. Any idea what this song might be?
Thanks.
