I was flipping through stations this afternoon and I heard the end of a song about crawdads and fishin'. I thought to myself what awesome harmony and that it sounded like Little Big Town. And behold... the DJ said (after the song was finished) that it was a brand new song from them.
Didn't Sony drop them?? Has someone picked them up again?? Anyone know anything??

They're now on Clint Black's label Equity. I recently received a promotion packet from Equity (featuring new music from Carolina Rain), but I have yet to hear LBT's new song. I'm sure it's good!

I really like these guys although their sound is a bit polished. Their harmonies aer incredible. If Sugarland can make it these guys should too.

They had their chance b4 Sugarland and they didn't make it. I liked their debut single and I bought the CD because of that song, but I've only heard the whole CD once as I thought it blew.

I actually thought it was a good CD with several songs that had potential. Perhaps now that Suglarland (and Trick Pony) has had their success, country radio will embrace LBT a little more.

The song is called "Boondocks" and it's AMAZZZZZZZZZZING! LBT have been working for awhile on their first Equity project and it's near completion. "Boondocks" will be released in Early/mid April.
I am a huge fan, but I do admit their first album was very polished and doesnt really do much for their actual stage presence/talent. "Tryin" should have been released...but whatever.
I have a 4 song promo from the new album and it's very stripped down and has a rootsy sound. I can't wait to see what happens with them.

"Tryin" should have been released...but whatever. Agreed 100%!! Let's hope "Boondocks" does well for this very talented foursome. By the way, is this the same "Boondocks" they had recorded for their sophmore project on Sony/Monument?
