Adults don't by a song by Avril Lavigne, that's how it is and Avril can't change that with just one song or a couple of more songs on an album nobody will buy or hear
I don't like Let Me Go, but if it is a hit for her then good, but I don't see that happening
her whole career is focused around easy pop songs for children(no offence) and she still sings them the way she did 10 years ago, singing now only one song next to all the Skater boy and Girlfriend type of songs won't convince anyone of her as an artist who has something to say
HTNGU and RNR shouldn't have happened, but now they are out and she uses them to promote herself and this album... that's not how you reinvent yourself, that's just a fail, sorry

This is doing great! But they need to send "Give You What You Like" just after this... They need to focus on this being a hit, even if only at Hot AC. If this flops I see no point in releasing anything else from the album. |

I hope this continues to climb and becomes a good sized hit on HAC/AC for Avril.
BBC Radio 2 B-listed the song this week in the UK. That's the most support any of her singles have gotten so far this era, so hopefully that means this song will do very well for Avril. <3

She doesn't have anything to lose, and if the biggest station is poking at it then take that as an indicator. People aren't surprised by her anymore. She's released the same songs over and over again. Do I think Bad Girl will hit top 5? No, but it will gain more attention then her standard releases and display some variety in her music. I'd love to see a video too. Like I've said before, Avril Lavigne delivers in the studio but her overheads never let anyone without an album see that. Now that the most commercial of commercial songs don't do it for her, it's time to have a little more fun. It's not like they're risking chart failure or anything, because even the most "radio" songs don't deliver that for her execs anymore. I realize your quote had nothing to do with the rant I just went on. I just have a lot of feelings. |

My boyfriend had the radio on while I was at his house yesterday and this was #1 on the countdown for "Most Requested" on whatever station that was playing it. I was excited to hear the song, but even more so to hear that. Hope it continues to strive.
