Phillip Phillips is gone gone gone from #1, allowing Pink to return to the top spot for a 9th unconsecutive week. This marks her 3rd trip to #1 with "Just Give Me a Reason." She was also interrupted the week of July 13th when Bruno Mars snuck in a 2nd week at #1 with "When I Was Your Man."
Maroon 5 sneaks back into the top 5 and gets a new peak at #4 with "Love Somebody." No top 10 entries this week.
The legendary Paul McCartney enters the top 20 this week with "New." Possibly helped by ClearChannel after performing at the iheartradio concert, the song rises 21-20. This marks Paul's 23rd top 20 hit. He reached #19 in March 2012 with "My Valentine."
The only debut this week is New Zealand sensation Lorde. The singer-songwriter has already topped the Alternative chart and the Hot 100, and she is going for AC now. "Royals" has a big debut this week at #24. This is her first AC hit.
Five For Fighting has a second chance as "What If" returns at #30 this week.
