Here we go again - time for stations to 'flip the switch' to all-Christmas music is quickly approaching. And yes folks, we already have stations playing all Christmas music. Two stations in upstate NY have flipped the switch. www.syracuse.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2013/10/syracuse_radio_holiday_music_christmas_holly_fm.htmlUnfortunately, 100000watts.com is now out of commission, so I don't know where to get the official list of stations. If someone knows, please post. Otherwise, post in here when your local station 'flips' or other thoughts. :) |

I prefer the week before Thanksgiving, but since Thanksgiving is way late this year - I can handle Nov. 15. Anything before Halloween is just wrong.

WEZW in Wildwood, NJ has flipped as of early this morning. Last year they flipped on October 16th.

Buffalo's AC station, WJYE, flipped to all Xmas,
So did Star 102.5 which is Buffalo's Hot AC station.

As ALL ACCESS reported last week, MILWAUKEE RADIO ALLIANCE Adult Standards WZTI-A (1290 Martini Radio)/MILWAUKEE began broadcasting nonstop CHRISTMAS music on HALLOWEEN (NET NEWS 10/31). CCM+E Adult Hits WLGX (GEN X RADIO)/LOUISVILLE was next, beginning CHRISTMAS music at 4p CT on NOVERBER 1sr (NET NEWS 11/1). There's now a 2nd player in the LOUISVILLE holiday music game, with SUMMIT MEDIA AC WVEZ (LITE 106.9) ALSO GETTING INTO THE SPIRIT. The holiday cheer is spreading, with ENTERCOM AC WWDE (THE NEW 101.3)/NORFOLK and CCM+E Rhythmic AC WMOV (MOVIN 107.7)/NORFOLK giving that market 2 CHRISTMAS outlets. In WESTERN NEW YORK, both TOWNSQUARE MEDIA AC WJYE (96.1 JOY FM)/BUFFALO and and ENTERCOM Hot AC WTSS (STAR 102.5)/BUFFALO both hang out the musical mistletoe.
