He might be doing something right, but picking this as his first single off of the new album was not it. His voice seems a little different as well. There were much better songs on his first album imo. I can't wait for the album though. He's coming to my hometown in June so I hope to have the new album by then to get signed. When is the release date?

This is an okay song... one I could see doing fairly well on radio, too. I like the lyrics.

Wayne Warner's newest album has a song with almost this exact same title....although the two songs sound different....

I would have thought this single would be in ATLEAST the Top 50 by now.
Hopefully this one picks up steam soon. Not his best work, but it is still good enough to reach the Top 10.

The rain held off and Billy got to perform. He did a great job although he does seem a bit uncomfortable on stage. The band sounded great as well. Here is the set list:
1. Hillbilly (I guess off the new album, good song) 2. That's Just Me 3. Off Of My Rocker 4. Hanging Around 5. Growin Up Down There 6. Kentucky Bourbon (blues song, maybe off new album?) 7. Nothin To Lose (New Album?) 8. Walk A Little Straighter 9. More Where That Came From (New Album?) 10. I'Ve Got A Feelin Encore 11. Where the Girls Are 12. Stand By Me 13. Family Tradition 14. Must Be Doin' Something Right (new Single) 15. Party For Two (women in the crowd sang Shania's part)
The crowd was pretty big with the threat of Tropical Storm Arlene coming our way. It was amazing that it didn't rain. He was supposed to open for Charlie Daniels but due to the bad weather threat they moved Charlie up to first then Billy then Malibu Storm who did a great job. The new music from Billy sounds great and I can't wait for the new album.
