Lots of solo women vying for the top spot on Rick's chart this week, but Katy Perry holds them all off as "Roar" spends a fifth week at the top of the chart. Lorde may put an end to that streak next week.
Speaking of solo women (in more ways than one), Miley Cyrus has the week's highest jumping song with "Wrecking Ball" up from #34 to #21. Apparently her recent "twerking" has not hurt her image, or at least her popularity. Not quite the same can be said for Bruno Mars this week(despite no twerking), as his recent top 10 hit "Treasure" takes one of the biggest drops this year on Rick's chart.
Also, lots of alternative crossover hits on the Hot AC chart as of late as well as groups like A Great Big World, Fitz & The Tantrums, The Neighbourhood, and American Authors all are moving up the chart this week. Nice to see them not only balancing out the chart, but adding some Hot AC exclusive music on the chart as well.
