Lyric Street promoted Kerry in this week's issue of Billboad Airplay Monitor. I saved the ad here: home.earthlink.net/~oceanblue831/images/kerry_harvick.gif [Updated] I have since removed the ad to get some space back on my web page.(The original image quality i'm sure is MUCH better than the degraded copy I received) Her new single got a huge 94% Pick It rating on After Midnite. I wish her well. :) The impact date is 5/31 A full-length video in Quicktime format can be saved to your PC here with a right click... aisle9.tv/downloads/video/111KerryHarvick-sm.mov (7mb download)

Thanks for posting Kerry's advertisement. I'm new around here and would love for someone to explain the lingo in that ad. Fore example, what does a 4.04 rating mean? Thanks!!!

Welcome to the board, Showersinger. Love the nickname! The 4.04 rating refers to how well it did on the surveys done by www.ratethemusic.com (which you can join and participate in, by becoming a member of their 'advisory panel'). I think a 5.0 is the highest possible score. Anything 4.0 or higher is a very very good score, so the "T-10 Potential" mentioned in the add alludes to the song's Top Ten potential. The "94% picked by After Midnite" refers to an informal, phonecall poll conducted during an airing of the syndicated nighttime country music show that airs on quite a few stations, nationwide. The poll isn't scientific. It just counts the yay/nay votes by anyone who can be bothered to call in. A 94% rating is EXCELLENT! Since it's polling so well, I hope radio gives it a chance.

I was curious how this song was doing, and was surprised today to see it only had one spin for the entire week on R&R. It turns out her website says the single has been pushed back. No reason was given, nor was a new add date revealed. This is just speculation, but maybe Lyric Street has its hands full right now with 3 songs in the Top 30 by Rascal Flatts, Shedaisy, and Josh Gracin.
