This was the worst two hours of TV I have watched in years. I was pulling for Bo but Carrie was great too.

I had thought that Bo was going to win until last nite's performances. Add to that Simon stating he was going to win and it's really not TOO shocking. No doubt Carrie is good but seems she has problems deciding if she wants to sing through her nose or not and I thought that compared to Vonzell (who got BETTER every week) that Carrie got worse every week.

No I'm sure it will go to country..they will add fiddle and steel and countryfy it..or so I hope.. Jimmy7474 said it best:
Expect a single like "Breathe" this fall, as I think 19 will market her to country, Pop and AC with the first album. I expect her second album to be full blown country.
He also added that they better remix in the fiddles tonight ;)

I was just going to post on this. I thought that Carrie made a statement when she chose Rascal Flatts tonight. I haven't watched the season until last night. She sounded great! I don't know how well the single would perform on country radio though.
Although, I do agree with Simon... I do think that she will sell more records than any other American Idol ever.

Congrats to Carrie....definetly pulling for her over that poser Bo. Carrie seemed very geniune to me...Bo seemed very fake. Bo needed to loose the sunglasses and put down that dang microphone stand. "Inside Your Heaven" is an okay song....I think that they should've gone with "Angels Brought Me Here" though. Neither of the songs are that great, but I guess Carrie has to make-do with what she's been given. We really can't judge Carrie on this single considering she has no choice in the matter at all. I definetly see her doing big things in Nashville. I do think that Nashville will embrace her...and I see her overshadowing Erika Jo (who is already off to a bad start) I think Carrie does need to realize that Nashville IS changing and that she's got to put out music with some country credibility to stick around. On a side note...if was surfing the DreamWorks site and stumbled across a picture of the new artist Tori Baxley and was amazed at how much her and Carrie looked alike.

LMAO. What does this reviewer know of country? She won't be loved by Nashville because she beat pop with country, they will play her because she is the American Idol and they want to be able to say 'We are the chosen genre of the American Idol'...
