Katy Perry has easily landed at the top of the chart with "Roar." it was a quick trip for AC standards as the song topped in just 10 short weeks! This is Katy's 2nd #1 AC hit. She spent a lone week at #1 in May 2011 with "Firework." At this point it looks like Katy should safely be #1 until Christmas.
Maroon 5 is now up to #3 with "Love Somebody." Their 3 previous singles all peaked at #2. Will Love Somebody continue that trend? There are no top 10 entries this week.
Moving 21-18 is Lorde with her former #1 pop hit and current #1 Hot 100, "Royals." This is Lorde's first top 20 appearance.
The only debut this week comes from Imagine Dragons with their new single "Demons." This is their 3rd AC hit, all 3 of which have charted in 2013. Their last hit "Radioactive" peaked at #20 back in September.
