This morning, When I did my weekly tuesday browsing through Itunes, I noticed that Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes , The Judds and Jo Dee Messina's latest cds were available for download. Maybe Curb finally decided to enter the 21st century and add some album sales from digital sites like itunes and napster.
It would be a good idea for Curb to allow songs by Amy Dalley, Steve Holy and others that haven't fared well at radio to be available for download so Curb can start making money on the songs.

I guess the exclusive deal that Curb had with Walmart.com has run out and they decided to expand to other sites. The Walmart site did have all of the latest releases by Steve Holy, Amy Dalley and Donovan Chapman available as well. I haven't been there lately but I'm sure they'd all still be available.

I wish UMG would do the same, that's shit that CMT.com can't stream UMG artists videos without paying..that puts them at a disadvantage.

yeah, I saw that. it also said that they'd be putting up their catalog albums up for sale soon as well.

Too bad they just started this. LLYWD has way past peaked at airplay. Had they had digital singles this whole time, it'd probably have been able to chart back on the hot 100 above the #50 mark, and accumulate a bunch of more weeks! He's on Itunes at #10, the best selling country single!
Either way, I bet we don't see JoDee's latest drop much, if not rise even a few places, as she's #60 on Itunes.

I also noticed the older CDs by these artists are now available on BMG for the first time.
