thaddys**t like this is NOT going to fly or cause no response back. Who do you think you are deciding who is and isn't black based on your own broken and ignorant judging system. Not only is she a black woman because of genetics sweetheart but she has so strongly identified herself with the black side of her gene pool, through music and culture. The woman has spent a entire career/life fighting against ignorance of this nature. Um, AC radio is a chart dominated by white artist, with the exception of Rihanna and Whitney and VERY few other dark-skin artist. And they wouldn't consider it, simple because Billboard's charting rulles differ from the chart in this thread, per their chart she only has one. You will deal. |

All we ever heard about the video was that it was going to use footage from the special, so I don't think anything was scrapped so much as that was just the plan all along. She even sang this song twice--once for the special, and once for the video, I'd assume. Footage of this song from the special shows her singing and dancing with some kids. |
