This song is ok... pretty traditional sounding. I was hoping "Country Enough" would be his first uptempo release though.

I'm not a big fan so I don't know, but is this ANOTHER single from the 'Rainbow Man' CD?

This song is ok... pretty traditional sounding. I was hoping "Country Enough" would be his first uptempo release though. "Country Enough" is off RAINBOW MAN CD released back on 05/20/2003. I think this must a new song off his next CD in the future cause i don't see any title of CD next to the song listed on the site of the clip nor is it any track off RAINBOW MAN CD. I found below article about Jeff Bates shooting a new video for song "Good People" in Las Vegas Journal just today looking around the net article dated June 6, 2005: "Also on a musical note, country singer Jeff Bates is in town today to shoot the video for his song "Good People," with planned locations stretching from Apex Road north of town to the heart of the Strip, according to Las Vegas-based location scout Kim Houser-Amaral."

I don't really care if Good People is any good or not, I'm just glad to see that a new single is coming out to finally signify the end of Long Slow Kisses. 38 weeks on the Billboard chart and only reaching a high of #17 is way too slow. If a song can't move faster than that, then it must get out of the way for other songs that can.

Oh, so this is off of his next effort.
It was time to put the debut album and 'Long, Slow Kisses' to rest after the Long, Slow climb up the chart.
