I like their production just fine as it is, but I heard they are changing to Dann Huff, who produces Martina McBride and Keith Urban. I wonder what this is going to do to their sound. I like Dann Huff, but Flatts has such a different sound going on right now and I really don't want it to change.
Is it true that they are switching producers, and if so, what do you think it will sound like?

The rumor was a new RF album was supposed to be released this holiday season with Dann Huff as the producer. I read somewhere (I thnk on here) that the album won't be ready for this year, and should be released sometime in 2006.
Personally, I like this pairing.

Maybe that means more singles from Feels Like Today? At least one more. I don't want Here's To You but it is an obvious choice since it's been in the Mediabase charts since the album was released. Skin has also and would be a definite number one. Surely they won't wait six months between singles as hot as they are right now.

Funny how they are switching to Dann Huff the same time label-mate SHeDAISY has decided to work without Dann Huff on their next project...
It's just a coincidence, but kind of interesting.

Just out of curiousty. (sorry this is off-topic) What are the bonus tracks for the Feels Like Today album? I've been looking for them! I've heard good things, about all three of them.

"Skin" was a hidden track on the CD. Besides that, the CD had 2 bonus tracks, and I believe they were different depending on where you bought the CD. I'm thinking that Wal-Mart had one version and Target had another, but I'm not sure.
I know the CD that my son purchased had the Mac Davis hit "Baby, Don't Get Hooked on Me" as a bonus track, but I don't recall what the other one was.

Well, this may not be a bad thing. Back in 1999, Mr. Huff took a group who had seen some success, including 3 #1s and 2 Gold albums. What did he do with that group? AMAZing things, including the first country crossover to hit #1 on the Hot 100 since "Islands In The Stream". That group? Lonestar. Can RF see success with Mr. Huff? I don't see why not! I say kudos to all parties involved!

I read where Rascal Flatts has a stipulation in their contract to only put 11 songs on their albums and that Skin was put in as a "bonus track" so they wouldn't violate their contract. That seems weird to have something like that in your contract. Especially now with some albums having 14 or 15 songs.
