I just learned his year, after hearing Kelly's cd and now seeing this thread, that My Favorite Things was considered a Christmas song. To me it was just a nice song from The Sound of Music OST. I wonder when it became a Xmas song...

I don't understand why it's considered Christmas as well. The Julie Andrews version has become a holiday staple and now the Rod Stewart version has as well.
