WOO Closer broke the record! So excited! Now let's see if we can break the 2010's record and hit 15. 24K Magic is still stuck at number 6. There's been talk of it hitting number 1, but it can't even get past Broccoli and Let Me Love You so I don't see it happening in the near future. What record? It's only at 11 weeks. The record weeks this year. |

-"24k magic" is still stuck at #6,looks like it'll miss 16' YE,and might not rank too high on the 17' YE at that rate.
-"Starving" went up to 14,if it keeps gaining like that it could end up at 85-75 on the year end.
-"Black beatels","juju",and "the greatest" look like they'll make 17' YE (although "the greatest" is still not guaranteed)

On that note, while Closer is technically still #1 on iTunes, Starboy becomes #1 if you factor in both the explicit version (which, at the time of this typing, is at #2 on its own) and the clean version (currently #52). A lot of people tend to forget that clean versions exist because most buy the explicit versions. Very interesting.

What Makes You Beautiful premiered in 2011, Story Of My Life in 2013, Night Changes in 2014 and Perfect in 2015. It's not about the songs charting, it's more or less about the app producing stars. The way Jacob Satorius became famous is absolutely ridiculous. You can talk a bunch of trash about Bieber, or One Direction. But at least they were made famous for singing. Jacob made it big for lip-syncing. Artists like Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Bieber have been criticized heavily for lip-syncing, yet a kid became famous for doing just that. It utterly baffles me. Sometimes the world can be very, VERY hypocritical. |

He's just busy  WEEK 48 of 2016 (October 29, 2016)Happy Halloween, everybody! Lol, I was barely able to keep my promise of releasing this on Monday (at least for PT standards). Anyway, I don't have enough time to write an overview (due to homework procrastination) so I'll just leave you guys with the chart and its corresponding video. On a separate note, I think I'll shorten my overviews to possibly just the top 10 in the future since they currently seem like overkill. |
