It's too late for Black Beatles to make the 2016 Year End list, but 2017 is a lock.

Haven't done this in a while:
Early November update: 2016 YE predictions 1. Love Yourself 2. Sorry 3. One Dance 4. Work 5. Stressed Out (You know what? I'm just going for it. Praying that Panda falls off either next week or falls of the week after while not gaining quite enough points to pass 21p) 6. Panda 7. Don't Let Me Down 8. Hello 9. Closer 10. Can't Stop The Feeling 11. Cheap Thrills 12. 7 Years 13. Needed Me 14. My House 15. ITAPII 16. Work From Home 17. This Is What You Came For 18. CBTO 19. Me, Myself & I 20. Ride 21. Heathens 22. Pillowtalk 23. Stitches 24. Hotline Bling 25. Cold Water 26. Send My Love 27. Treat You Better 28. Roses 29. Too Good 30. Low Life 31. The Hills 32. What Do You Mean 33. Broccoli 34. Just Like Fire 35. Dangerous Woman 36. Don't 37. Jumpman 38. I Hate U I Love U 39. Here 40. Same Old Love (although it's probably not gonna be 42, 42 is still impressive for a prediction for the final position of this song given that it was made in the beginning of the year) 41. Controlla 42. Like I'm Gonna Lose You 43. One Call Away 44. Let It Go 45. Let Me Love You 46. No 47. Never Forget You 48. Don't Mind 49. H.O.L.Y. 50. Gold 51. Into You 52. We Don't Talk Anymore (could be above 51 or even 50 if it lasts 2 more weeks) ... (Don't have time for the rest of the top 50 unfortunately) 95. Tiimmy Turner 96. Adventure Of A Lifetime 97. Humble And Kind 98. Perfect 99. Wicked/Peter Pan (Unless there's some wild miscalculation, Wicked's probably gonna get it. But I still wanna support Kelsea so yeah) 100. Somewhere On A Beach --- 101. See You Again 102. Stand By You 103. Confident 104. Break Up In A Small Town 105. You Should Be Here 106. Peter Pan (RIP)

And I am so sorry for asking this late in, but one more time, what's the deal with this whole "Same Old Love at 42" thing? What would gravey have to go through if that happened again?

Inverse predicted randomly around March that Same Old Love would finish at #42 on the year end list. At the time, it seemed ridiculous but now it's looking like he might be very very close, or even right.. :)

How accurate are these predictions? In other words what are the chances that Confident actually makes the year end?

Anyways, I may or may not make predictions for the 2016's actual YE chart. Everyone seems to have the same thing. The entire Top 20 is locked, while there isn't very much movement in the 20's, 30's, and 40's.
The bottom half of the YE chart is what I'm most interested in. There's seems to be lots of movement down there. It may be hard to pin point where some of these lower songs will end up at.

How accurate are these predictions? In other words what are the chances that Confident actually makes the year end? We don't know, as this is the first time George has done them. In 2014, Daniel Collins got more than 40 in the right spot and 96/100 right. The songs he missed ended up at 100, 99, 98, and 97. In 2015, Broccoli got 19 in the right spot and 98/100 right. The songs he missed ended up at 99 and 100. In other words, George, the pressure's on! Also this thread has gotten reeeeeeeeeeally unfocused. (Harambe has made his long overdue appearance onto this forum)

WOO CLOSER! Rip 24K Magic's chances of this year end list.
Seems like the 10 highest songs that don't make the top 20 are gonna be: 1. Exchange 2. Die A Happy Man 3. Unsteady 4. Hymn For The Weekend 5/6/7. Say It, Lost Boy, and Sit Still, Look Pretty 8. Hide Away 9. All The Way Up 10. No Limit

closer just won't go away.. 12 weeks and counting, but i think black beatles is a threat, it's gaining so much right now According to Billboard, Starboy has gained more than Closer. And it could overtake it as soon as next week. After that, Black Beatles seems to be the next #1 (unfortunately). Bruno is dropping a lot. Let's hope his EMA and American Music Award performances along with the album release can boost 24K Magic back into the Top 5 or even Top 3. At this point the song seems like it'll not go #1, which would give Bruno his first lead-single not to go to #1. Maybe he could boast a #1 with his next single. Juju is also gaining a lot, but I don't think it has a chance at #1. It's a huge song, but; Closer, Black Beatles, and Starboy have more gains. I predict it'll peak at #3, like Watch Me did last year. 2017's beginning seems like it'll be off to a pretty big start (like last year with Adele and Bieber). I might not like some of these songs (Black Beatles is terrible, IMO). But I'm just happy there seems to be some movement on the Hot 100. Since late August, the chart has been very stagnant.

The "Starboy could be #1 as early as next week" reminds me a bit of the first livestream after Hello came out when they were like "Hey, Hotline Bling could still hit #1..."
I mean, Starboy has a better chance of hitting #1 next week than Hotline Bling did that week, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I read that, lol.

Closer gets one last week before Starboy takes the lead and likely Back Beatles, considering it won't lose the #1 spot on iTunes for a while.

I'm thinking Starboy is gonna be kinda comparable to Can't Feel My Face, except only 1 or 2 weeks at #1. Cheerleader is like Closer, except the latter is stronger. But in both cases, it seems so likely for The Weeknd song to pass the #1, but they seem to stall out at #2. But in the end, CFMF managed to pull off 3 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 (because Cheerleader began dropping faster) before The Hills took over (well WDYM interrupted the run but whatever). Hopefully Starboy can pull of the same thing for a week or two at #1 before Black Beatles takes over. And rip 24k Magic...

IMO, and hopefully it does, this is how it goes:
Closer (11/19) > Black Beatles (11/26, 12/03) > 24K Magic (12/10) > Starboy (12/17)
That'll be refreshing. A new #1 week after week.

Yeah, that seems about practical. The thought of Starboy hitting #1 at this point does feel a little crazy what with Black Beatles, but as mentioned, the 12/17 chart is the best chance because of how well the album is expected to sell (I think it's like over 350,000 that Starboy is projected on). And regarding 24K Magic, I may be missing something here, but the kworb radio charts in the other thread have it still gaining and it looks like it's good on that note, unless it turns out to be like CSTF in peaking fast. And streaming usually gets increases when albums drop. But for real, anything can happen, so I say wait for the album before counting it out entirely. Not to mention there are always Christmas sales, and given how much Hello spiked up for its final week at #1 because of that maybe something else could sneak in another week at the top I wouldn't count on it, but we'll see. But for now, how likely are Juju and Black Beatles to sneak in spots on this list?

Kinda hoping that Starboy is down at like number 5 by the time that the album drops so that it wouldn't pass Closer.
I don't think Black Beatles will hit number 1 next week but the first week of 2017 is totally a possibility. I don't mind the song at all but for Closer's sake it would be great if it stayed at number 2. If it doesn't hit number 1 then Closer might get 15 weeks before it needs to fade The Weeknd's album release.
Also isn't it weird that Ariana Grande's 3rd single from her album is her biggest? That never happens.
