Word on the street is that BlackHawk is currently in the studio working on their next album for the Universal Music Group. Not sure yet which label under UMG they might be on though.
On a personal note, BlackHawk is one of my favorite groups and it would certainly be refreshing to hear new music from them on the radio again. It's a shame that country radio doesn't give the popular 90's bands (BlackHawk, Diamond Rio, Ricochet, Sawyer Brown, etc.) much of a chance anymore.

Thank you for the update! Blackhawk is one of my favorites! "I'm Not Strong Enough To Say No" and "Goodbye Says It All" are two of my all-time favorite songs. I was hoping they'd resurface, especially to tribute Van who passed away a few years ago. Glad to hear they're coming back.

According to AllAccess, BlackHawk is credited on Keni Thomas' new single Gloryland. I like that song -- I don't suppose it's going to do all that well at radio, but it's another way for BH to get back on the charts. One way or another, I do hope we hear BlackHawk on the radio again with some regularity.
