Obvious spoiler alert: coronation single from The Voice winner Tessanne Chin. Will likely get a minimal pop push like the previous winning songs.

What the hell is it with these Voice people's names? Javier Colon, Tessane Chin? Could they at least use stage names or something?

Sounded quite cheesy, TBH. Hopefully the studio recording is slicker

You're not forgetting anything: this is the first year they've done an original song.

Tessanne would be a great name for her music career. I wanted Will Champlin to win, but Tessanne is an amazing vocalist, so I'm not sad. I'm interested in hearing the songs Ryan wrote for Jaquie and Will. I guess they'll release those too.

Pretty generic and beneath her abilities, but hey hope it makes some tread for her.

She's of Chinese ancestry and Chin is a pretty common Chinese name. Are people from other ethnicities really throwing people off this much? Talk about fulfilling the ugly American stereotype.

And yet they'd done original songs on The Voice AUS from the beginning. Of course the winners' singles all turn out to be covers, relegating the finalists' actual original songs (of which they at least co-wrote) as finale performances. I wish Michael Paynter had been in the final 4 of the last Aus season, I'd like to know what original song he would've used. :( But enough about the Aus version, it's irrelevant to this thread~

Not at all, it's just an unappealing name for someone who wants to be a "star." Now Enrique Iglesias for example, that sounds like a great name for a star.

They did original songs for the first season. Each of the final four had their own original song that they performed during the final live performance episode.

This is the Tedderest song that Tedder has ever Teddered.

She's probably the most pop-friendly Voice winner to date, and this is a "real" song instead of a victory song, not to mention Ryan Tedder wrote it. I can see this actually doing well. If it were a victory song it'd go nowhere. Every singing competition victory song ever absolutely blows. There's no such thing as a good victory song, and that includes Kelly Clarkson's Idol victory song.

The Runner up on the Voice Jacquie Lee's version of this song has just been released and honestly her voice suits it way more..she is more pop oriented teamjacquielee.tumblr.com/post/70634692438/jacquieleeupdates-jacquie-lee-tumbling-down

She often ended up way off on her low notes, and ruined several songs by yelling out the chorus for no reason at all.

I love Jacquie's voice, but I guess it's much more polarising. Somewhat like Xtina's

Not a fan of Tessanne on The Voice, but I kinda like this song. Jacquie's might be more on the pop mold, but Tessanne brought this song to life with her delivery. I don't expect this to make major impact on the charts, though.
