They'll be streaming her Ladyland set from September as an event on November 30th for $15 USD. There is nothing more on brand as a #fighter than getting this fun, but vocally mediocre event the closest thing to HD concert footage since 2008. We can never win lol. The fact that it's this over the Hollywood Bowl is... something else.

At least it is something new to watch of Christina. It will be the closest thing we Christina fans have in years of a concert to watch,I believe the last HD Concert was her VH1 Storytellers Concert from 2010.

As 2022 looms, the pop star promises that more music is on the way. She sounds great on "Somos." The song itself is kinda in the middle of the pack in terms of her ballads... in "Blank Page" territory I guess. It's very sparse, just her and a piano. No background vocals. That's based on the demo I heard on YT a couple of weeks ago, so we'll see if the final version has any tweaks. The demo of "Pa Mis Muchachas" was virtually the same as the single release with the addition of the features. In terms of melody, the verses sound like "Just a Fool" and the chorus like "Breakaway."
I imagine she'll probably do a verse and chorus of "Somos" then go into the full version of PMM with the girls.
It's also been announced she'll be doing another set of videos for Masterclass coming out next year.
Her signing with Roc Nation has been such a blessing. She's been more active in a non-album cycle than she has been with the last few major releases.

Christina performed a tribute for Tina Turner singing "River Deep, Mountain High" at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony tonight Absolutely killed it, she performs tributes better than her own songs. I agree she sounds better on tributes than her own songs, and I think it's a big hint of the direction she sould be going sonically. |

While I had some issues trying to make out what she was saying in certain parts, the performance of Somos Nada gave me the same feeling as when I saw her perform Lift Me Up live (for Hope For Haiti) the first time. Chills

Christina dedicated a whole instagram post to free Britney movement last summer and kept it cute with her and Britney goes all bat shit crazy on IG for something taken out of context. Britney said herself she wants to continue therapy and work out her issues so it’s not a secret she’s battling demons from her crazy ass family. But Christina is not your enemy. |
