Was that shade on The Voice last night when she walked off the stage after the performance, saying "you deserve everything you get"? Some seem to think so.  I don't know if she will ever score a big hit as a lead act again, but I think there ill be a certain level of interest with the next project. The lead singles from the last two albums peaked in the 20s and 30s- she needs to break the trend and not peak in the 40as with the next one. |

I thought that interview was hilarious, and it seemed to me like old school diva "praise over thinly concealed content" and that's amazing and I love them both for it. She had to go get dressed and seated in time before the commercials. Was she just supposed to stand there? Hell she followed her on Twitter right after along with more positive comments about her.

I think people trying to make that shade portrays just how immature some people still are about Christina. She had to run and get changed to be there for her contestant during the crowning. If she had NOT went, then the same people would be shrieking about what a bitch she was to stay with Gaga and leave her contestant during the most important moment during the show. People were going to find a way to make Christina look shady and bitchy no matter what and no matter how desperate the reach.
Thankfully the number of people doing this has dropped way, way down since Bionic (in fact, I didn't even see anyone say what HolidayGuy posted) and I do think with the right song she could have a hit on her hands as a solo artist again.
The actual performance was a bit bizarre and I didn't like Christina's vocals, but man was she owning that stage. Like, even her walking off-stage was fierce.

Happy birthday, Christina!  I cannot get over how young and youthful she looks at 33. She looks even better than she did in her 20's. She's been giving some fierce performances lately; I'm loving she has her confidence back. She also looked absolutely fabulous on "The Voice" this season, and was a really great coach. All things considered, she's been doing wonderful things lately, and I sincerely hope this translates into a new album era. Even if she can't sell anymore, all I really wanted was to see her have that fire again; thankfully she appears to be in full form. I'm excited to see what she has in store for 2014. |

I'm assuming Christina will be back for the Fall season. Mark Burnett said they are happy with who they have. They plan to use their current team in various combinations for the duration of the show (Adam, CeeLo, Chritina, Blake, Shakira, Usher). It would be interesting to see Shakira & Christina on the same season. |
